Projekt Green Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Projekt Green is a Windows project-planning application operated by Projekt Green. This privacy policy explains what information Projekt Green processes, why it is used, how it is stored, and the choices available to users.

Information We Process

Projekt Green processes the information needed to provide project planning, task tracking, account access, synchronization, subscriptions, and optional weather features.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate Projekt Green, save and synchronize your workspace, authenticate your account, check Microsoft Store subscription access, provide optional weather, support export/import and account deletion features, troubleshoot app issues, and comply with legal or platform requirements.

Local Storage and Cloud Sync

Projekt Green stores workspace data locally in your Windows user profile so the app can work on your device. If you sign in, workspace data is synchronized to Supabase so it can be restored and kept consistent across sessions. Supabase session tokens are protected on Windows using the Windows Data Protection API for the current Windows user. Network communication uses HTTPS.

Microsoft Store Purchases

Microsoft processes subscription purchases and payment information and manages any subscription free trial. A valid payment method is required during subscription checkout, and the subscription renews according to the terms shown by Microsoft unless cancelled. Projekt Green receives trial and subscription license status from Microsoft Store services to determine whether access is active. Continued access requires an active subscription, valid Store app trial, or complimentary access granted by an administrator. Projekt Green does not receive your full payment-card details.

Optional Weather

Weather is disabled by default. If you enable weather, Projekt Green contacts ipwho.is to estimate your location from your internet address, then sends approximate latitude and longitude to Open-Meteo to retrieve current weather. You can disable weather at any time in Options.

Third-Party Services

Projekt Green uses Supabase for account authentication and synchronization, Microsoft Store services for subscription and license checks, ipwho.is for optional approximate location lookup, and Open-Meteo for optional weather data. These services process information according to their own privacy practices.

Sharing

Projekt Green does not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, when you direct the app to synchronize or export data, or when required by law, security, or platform compliance obligations.

Retention and Deletion

Workspace data is retained until you delete it or delete your account. The in-app Delete Account action removes synchronized records, deletes the Supabase account, and removes that account's local application data. You can export your data before deletion if you want to keep a copy.

Your Choices

You can create, edit, export, import, archive, or delete workspace data in the app. You can disable optional weather, sign out, clear remembered sign-in information, or permanently delete your account from Options.

Children

Projekt Green is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy when the app, services, legal requirements, or Microsoft Store requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
